Idioma/Language: English

In this workshop we will analyze real-world social, economic, and environmental systems, discuss their issues and breaking points, and then model them as digital toys. We will use a framework specifically developed for this event, built on the top of p5.js, a javascript library for creative coding.

Time: Two hours

Profile: Hacks/Hackers/Designers/Activists

Skills: Programming experience is not required. Software developers will have a chance to delve deeper in the engine and learn the basics of p5.js.

Level: Low

Outcome: The ideal outcome is a working interactive artifact modeling a scenario chosen by the participant or the group.

Requirements: Projector/screen for the tutorial, big sheets of paper and markers. There should be at least one laptop for every 3 participants (I'm assuming that won't be a problem).
