For the past 25 years, Nuno has worked in product, design and strategy in Europe, Latin America, SE Asia, Africa and the USA, developing products for start-ups and corporate projects for digital and mobile platforms for the likes of Meta (Facebook), The Gates Foundation, the United Nations, the ICFJ, Grupo Clarín or Google, while lecturing on Design Thinking, Digital Business and Strategy.

Born in Portugal, Nuno studied media, business, design and technology in Spain and lived in Brazil, Argentina and the USA. in 2012, he became the first Portuguese to be chosen as a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University. At Stanford he designed and built DataStory, a tool that allowed journalists, scientists students and common users to interpret public and private data by creating time line visualizations that they can share, contribute - by community driven data-linking - and embed.
DataStory got selected as one of the World Top 10 news startups at CNN/Eurovision's NewsXChange, Startup Alley.
During his time in California Nuno was also a guest lecturer at Stanford's Graduate school of Education and a coach at Stanford's D.School class Design for Science.

Nuno believes that Journalism, Innovation and Product Design are a social process. You build for people.
He is obsessed with Digital Transformation, user Needs, user experience, mobility, content, process and design and needs to see it working in real time.
